It is now published by the American Registry of Pathology. The latest fourth series is hardbound with illustrations predominantly in colour and a greater emphasis on the cytopathologic and molecular features that are important in diagnosis and prognosis. As in previous series a continuous attempt is made to correlate the nomenclature used in the fascicles with that proposed by the World Health Organization's Classification of Tumors.
